About the Project

mybooklist.com is a community driven site dedicated to providing libraries and their patrons with an online, searchable database of book reviews.

Project Details and Outline

The project leader/owner of My Booklist approached me looking for a modern, fresh web site design for her online presence. A month-long collaboration resulted in a standards compliant, cross-browser web site that is both easy to navigate, as well as a pleasure to look at.

As an added bonus, I created a matching set of icons to be placed throughout the site, replacing the older, dated set that was currently in use. Each icon was created using Adobe Illustrator, so they can be scaled without loss of quality. These new icons, along with the new site design, gave the site a strong, unified appearance.
